QANTAS A380 VH-OQD arrived into Melbourne this morning as QF94 from Los Angeles (depart Los Angeles 22nd October), however its scheduled return to Los Angeles was delayed until this evening when it operated as QF93D.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQD operating the Dubai – Melbourne sector of QF10 London Heathrow – Dubai – Melbourne (depart London Heathrow 9th October) diverted via Adelaide this evening due to weather at Melbourne.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQD QF2 Perth Technical Diversion.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQD operating the Dubai – Sydney sector of QF2 London Heathrow – Dubai – Sydney (depart London Heathrow 29th August and using callsign QF2D) diverted to Perth in the early hours of this morning due to a technical issue. The flight attempted to continue Perth – Sydney during the afternoon after a delay of around 13 hours but had to return to the gate.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQD arrived into London Heathrow this morning as QF2 from Sydney and Dubai (depart Sydney 30th March), however due to the A380 technical issue at London Heathrow on 28th March the aircraft turned around immediately to operate last night’s delayed QF2 London Heathrow – Dubai – Sydney rather than operating QF10 London Heathrow – Dubai – Melbourne as scheduled.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQD QF7 Sydney Toilets Return.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQD operating the delayed QF7 Sydney – Dallas-Fort Worth returned to Sydney around four hours after take off this evening due to a lack of working toilets. The flight has been delayed overnight and passengers accommodated. This means the airline now have two A380s out of service at one of the peak periods for inbound traffic to Australia.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, QANTAS A380 VH-OQD preapred to depart Hong Kong this evening operating yesterday’s delayed QF128 Hong Kong – Sydney as QF128D, however the aircraft returned to the stand and the flight has been further delayed.

Following the shortened and delayed QF9D Melbourne – Dubai sector it operated yesterday, QANTAS A380 VH-OQD returned from Dubai this evening operating today’s delayed QF2 Dubai – Sydney sector.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, QANTAS A380 VH-OQD departed Melbourne early this afternoon operating yesterday’s delayed QF9 Melbourne – Dubai – London Heathrow as QF9D. The flight will only operate as far as Dubai.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQD arrived into Melbourne this morning as QF94 from Los Angeles (depart Los Angeles 14th March), however it was unable to operate its next scheduled service as QF9 Melbourne – Dubai – London Heathrow due to a fuel pump issue. The flight has been delayed overnight and will now only operate as far as Dubai.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQD Returns to Service, Diverts to Manila.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQD operating was operating its first service since returning from maintenance at Manila as QF128 Hong Kong – Sydney, diverted to Manila late tonight. After around 90 minutes on the ground the flight continued to Sydney making it appear to have been a medical diversion.

Following its medical diversion to Honolulu, QANTAS A380 VH-OQD operating QF12 Los Angeles – Sydney (depart Los Angeles 7th July) further diverted via Brisbane this morning. This appears to be due to crew having insufficient hours to reach Sydney.

The aircraft then encountered a minor technical issue which meant it would have missed curfew at Sydney. Consequently the aircraft overnighted at Brisbane.

QANTAS [rs-cut] A380 VH-OQD operating the London Heathrow – Singapore sector of QF32 London Heathrow – Singapore – Sydney diverted via Dubai this evening when problems with paperwork prevented the aircraft from overflying Iran. The aircraft will arrive late into Singapore tomorrow and will be forced to overnight as it will miss curfew in Sydney.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQD was delivered Toulouse – Singapore – Sydney today as QF6022. The aircraft was delivered in QANTAS New Roo livery and 14F/72J/32W/332Y configuration and is named “Fergus McMaster”. This brings the QANTAS A380 fleet up to four aircraft.
