QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-VZU operating QF185 Brisbane – Queenstown diverted via Christchurch this afternoon. This was shown as due to weather at Queenstown in GDS systems however reports from on board state that there was an issue with the flaps on one wing.

QANTAS B737-800 VH-VZU Operates Ginbata Fifo Rotation.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-VZU operated a Perth – Ginbata Fifo sector as QF1350 this morning, returning this afternoon after eight hours on the ground as QF1351. The aircraft then positioned Perth – Newman as QF6124 in order to operate QF1089 Newman – Perth. QF1088 Perth – Newman was cancelled.

QANTAS B737-800 VH-VZU Positioning Flight.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-VZU, which spent yesterday out of service at Brisbane, positioned Brisbane – Sydney late this morning as QF6115 then returned to service operating QF765 Sydney – Adelaide.

QANTAS B737-800 VH-VZU Port Hedland Technical Issue.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-VZU operated QF1122 Perth – Port Hedland early this morning, however the return QF1123 was cancelled due to a technical issue. The aircraft was able to position Port Hedland – Perth during the evening as QF6131.

QANTAS B737-800 VH-VZU Returns from Sydney Maintenance.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-VZU, which has been under maintenance at Sydney since 21st September, returned to service this morning operating QF415 Sydney – Melbourne. The aircraft has been reconfigured from 12J/156Y to 12J/162Y.

QANTAS B737-800 VH-VZU Takes Over QF1084.

Following the earlier return of QF1084 Perth – Newman to Perth, QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-VZU subsequently operated the flight, then positioned Newman – Perth as QF6111. QF1085 Newman – Perth was cancelled.

QANTAS B737-800 VH-VZU QF404 Melbourne Return.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-VZU operating QF404 Melbourne – Sydney stopped the climb at 12,000 ft this morning and returned to Melbourne for a safe landing. After around an hour on the ground at Melbourne the aircraft departed again and completed the flight successfully.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-VZU, which has been under maintenance at Brisbane since 29th October, undertook a Brisbane – Brisbane test flight this afternoon as QF6115.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-VZU operated QF860 Sydney – Coolangatta this morning, however it was unable to operate the return QF861 due to a technical issue. The aircraft was able to position Coolangatta – Brisbane early in the evening as QF6125.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-VZU operated QF1088 Perth – Newman this afternoon, however the return QF1089 was cancelled due to a technical issue with the aircraft. The aircraft was able to position Newman – Perth late in the evening as QF6114.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-VZU operated the following charter series today: QF1197 Cairns – Alice Springs, QF1199 Alice Springs – Ayers Rock, QF1198 Ayers Rock. The aircraft then positioned Cairns – Brisbane as QF6101.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-VZU departed Paine Field on delivery today as QF6024 routing Paine Field – Honolulu – Nadi – Melbourne. The aircraft is in QANTAS New ‘Roo livery and 12J/156Y configuration with Boeing Sky Interior. This brings the QANTAS Boeing 737-800 fleet up to 46 aircraft the QANTAS Group Boeing 737-800 fleet up to 54 aircraft.
