QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-XZG operating QF839 Darwin – Melbourne stopped the climb at 12,000ft this afternoon due to a technical issue, entered a hold over the Beagle Gulf to work checklists and burn fuel then returned to Darwin for a safe landing.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-XZG operating QF91 Sydney – Noumea was almost half way into the flight this morning when the aircraft returned to Sydney due to an expected worsening of weather conditions at Noumea. The flight and the return QF92 were subsequently cancelled.

QANTAS B737-800 VH-XZG Returns from Sydney Maintenance.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-XZG, which has been under maintenance at Sydney since 13th September, returned to service this morning operating QF401 Sydney – Melbourne. The aircraft has been reconfigured from 12J/156Y to 12J/162Y.

Following the earlier B737-800 technical issue at Coolangatta, QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-XZG positioned Brisbane – Coolangatta as QF6115 this morning in order to operate the delayed QF861 Coolangatta – Sydney.

QANTAS B737-800 VH-XZG Operates Kalgoorlie Extra.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-XZG operated an additional Perth – Kalgoorlie service as QF1216 this afternoon for the Diggers & Dealers Conference. The aircraft then positioned Kalgoorlie – Perth as QF6107.

QANTAS B737-800 VH-XZG Delivered.

QANTAS Boeing 737-838 VH-XZG began its delivery flight from Boeing Field today routing Boeing Field – Honolulu – Nadi – Sydney – Melbourne as QF6024. The aircraft is in QANTAS New ‘Roo livery and 12J/156Y Boeing Sky Interior configuration. This brings the QANTAS Boeing 737-800 fleet up to 58 aircraft and the QANTAS Group Boeing 737-800 fleet up to 66 aircraft.
