Following the earlier technical return of QF29 Melbourne – Hong Kong to Melbourne, the delayed service was subsequently operated late tonight by QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG positioned Melbourne – Sydney as QF6007 early this afternoon after arriving as QF80 from Tokyo Narita. The aircraft then operated QF83 Sydney – Singapore.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG Auckland Flight Switch.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG arrived into Auckland in the early hours of this morning as QF149 from Sydney, however instead of returning to Sydney as QF140 this morning it instead operated yesterday’s delayed QF146 Auckland – Sydney. This followed the A330-200 technical issue at Auckland yesterday.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG Operates Delayed QF80 and Diverts to Perth.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG operating yesterday’s delayed QF80 Tokyo Narita – Melbourne diverted to Perth this evening. The flight was operating with minimal or no passengers after passengers were accommodated on last night’s services to Sydney and Brisbane and the diversion appears to have been following the cancellation of a scheduled additional Melbourne – Perth A330-200 service this evening. This ensures an A330 is available at Perth for AFL flights to Melbourne tomorrow.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG Overnight Tokyo Narita Delay.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG operated QF79 Melbourne – Tokyo Narita this morning, however the return QF80 has been delayed overnight due to a lack of rested crew available at Tokyo Narita following a 24 hour delay to yesterday’s QF79 service. Passengers have been accommodated on services via Brisbane or Sydney.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG Shanghai Pudong Flight Switch.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG operated QF129 Sydney – Shanghai Pudong this afternoon then turned around to operate yesterday’s delayed QF130 Shanghai Pudong – Sydney as QF130D. This is an ongoing knock-on delay following an A330-300 technical issue at Shanghai Pudong on 10th March.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG Operates Tasman Services.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG operated the following trans-Tasman services today in place of the usual Boeing 737-800s in seasonsal upgauges:

QF145 Sydney – Auckland
QF156 Auckland – Melbourne
QF151 Melbourne – Auckland.

 

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG Overnight Tokyo Narita Delay.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG operated QF61 Brisbane – Tokyo Narita this morning, however due to the delay to yesterday’s QF61 service there was no rested crew available at Tokyo Narita to operate the return QF62 this evening. The aircraft will therefore overnight at Tokyo Narita and operate back as a day flight tomorrow.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG Returns from Brisbane Maintenance.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG, which has been under maintenance at Brisbane since February 13th, positioned Brisbane – Sydney as QF6001 early this morning then returned to service operating QF127 Sydney – Hong Kong. The aircraft has been reconfigured from 30J/267Y to 28J/269Y with Panasonic IFE and flat beds in Business Class.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG Brisbane Test Flight.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG, which has been under maintenance at Brisbane since February 13th, undertook a three hour Brisbane – Brisbane test flight this morning as QF6114.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG Returns from Shanghai.

Following its overnight delay, QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG departed Shanghai Pudong early this evening operating yesterday’s delayed QF130 Shanghai Pudong – Sydney as QF130D.

QANTAS A330-300 VH-QPG was delivered Toulouse – Singapore as QF6008 today and will continue tomorrow as cargo flight QF7628 Singapore – Melbourne. The aircraft is in 1984 livery, 30J/267Y configuration and is named “Mt Gambier”.
