QANTAS today announced its half year results, showing a new profit of A$111 million and an underlying profit of A$223 million. Sector results show a A$91 million loss for QANTAS International, down from a A$282 million loss. A$218 million profit for QANTAS Domestic, down from A$328 million. A$128 million from JetStar, down from A$147 million, A$137 million from Frequent Flyer, up from A$119 million. A$22 million from freight, down from £38 million. The figures also include a one-off payment of A$125 million from Boeing for late Boeing 787 delays. It is not specified to which Business Unit this has been allocated.
