QANTASLink Boeing 717-231 VH-NXL operating QF1816 Perth – Port Hedland was around halfway through the journey this morning when it turned back to Perth for a safe landing. This appears to have been due to a technical issue, however the aircraft returned to service early in the afternoon operating QF1836 Perth – Paraburdoo.
